Brief with the client
We receive the customer’s request with all the specifications: design, target audience, materials, colors and quantities. We carefully analyze every detail to make the knitwear garment that reflects the customer’s vision.
Design and prototyping
We develop the first prototypes from the brief received. We propose yarns, processes and variations, making samples for the customer to evaluate and test.
Approval and planning
Once the samples are approved, we define the timelines together, optimize the production plan and organize procurement.
Production
We manage all production stages: weaving, making up, finishing, ironing and quality control. Each garment is made according to the standards required by the customer.
Customised packaging
We apply customer labels and take care of packaging. Upon request, we also provide customised packaging, ready for sale.
Shipping
We arrange worldwide shipping of finished garments, ready to be distributed or put on the market directly in stores.

Every collection starts with an idea, and our mission is to bring it to life in an authentic and achievable way. At Essepi, we offer a tailor-made creative consultancy service, supporting the client at every stage of the product’s stylistic definition. We don’t just execute: we interpret, advise and translate the brand identity into consistent and distinctive garments.
We analyse visual references, study brand positioning and work together to define style, fit and construction details. Every project is handled with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring a balance between creative vision and practical production.
All this takes place in our workshop and archive, where knitwear culture meets innovation, giving rise to a fluid, quality-oriented collaboration.
Yarn research
The quality of a garment begins with the raw material. That’s why we help our customers select the most suitable yarns, taking into account style, functionality and brand values.
Through direct dialogue with the best Italian spinning mills, we offer a wide range of yarns in wool, cotton, cashmere, recycled and certified fibres, in line with the stylistic and sustainable requirements of the project.
We don’t stop at the catalogue: we test the performance of the yarn in knitwear, analysing the visual effect, the feel, the behaviour in production and its durability over time.
Every choice is backed by experience, technical expertise and aesthetic taste, creating the perfect foundation on which to shape each collection.
Laboratory and Experimentation
The prototyping phase represents the creative heart of the process, a moment dedicated to research, experimentation and the definition of the final model.
The central element of this phase is the creation of new stitches, through mock-ups and knitdowns of tests on different gauges, to concretely test stylistic ideas and perfect the final garment with refined finishes.
This allows us to verify fit, colour rendering, stability of workmanship and technical complexity in advance, optimising production times.
We work in close collaboration with the customer, ensuring flexibility, speed and constant dialogue focused on the quality of the final result.
